DJ Basic - DJ Player
DJ Basic - DJ Player is a free application software download for Android, designed to help you create your own mix. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced DJ, you can easily create music playlists using the app and save them to your device.
The application can be used as a simple "folders and files" track manager or you can use it to manage tracks from Apple Music or iTunes on your iPhone or iPad. It also supports importing and exporting audio from a file server, like Dropbox or NAS.
MIDI: DJ Player can handle a wide variety of MIDI devices, wireless and wired. It has factory mappings for many DJ MIDI controllers, but you can also create your own MIDI mappings from scratch.
Mappings: Every MIDI device needs to be "mapped" in order for the DJ software to know what it is and how to use it. There is no "standard" way to do that, but DJ TechTools has a great mapping community where you can search for the perfect map for your device.
Reset eq/fx/tempo if no MIDI connected: when DJ Player doesn't receive any MIDI messages, it can reset most of the controls for you. This is especially useful when you don't want to re-sync your controller, as it diverts the software's control positions away from the hardware control positions.
Master Deck Sync: when you move any channel fader (VOL) or crossfader, DJ Player identifies the deck that has the loudest volume playing audio. The deck is the Master Deck until you remove the cumulated position of the VOL and crossfader, or another deck takes over that volume advantage.
